On most weekends you can find her relaxing with her husband Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling, reading, and doing yoga. It was here that she learned the significance between the mouth and a patient's overall health as well as the importance of oral health education. She then completed her education at UNC-Chapel Hill- School of Dentistry, where she received the training to not only diagnose and restore dentition but to offer comprehensive care.įollowing graduation, she went on to work in public health being able to refine her skills and give back to a community in need. She has since decided that the fairest way to deal with the university rivalry is to support UNC basketball and NC State football. She went on to study Biology at UNC-Chapel Hill for her undergraduate studies, followed by a Master’s degree in Physiology from NC State University. While the decision for dentistry came years later, she started her journey and interest in the healthcare field with a science-driven education, beginning at Myers Park High School’s International Baccalaureate Program. Her parents, immigrants from South Korea, taught her from an early age what it meant to work diligently, respectfully, and with compassion.
